REGISTER EARLY!! Special Session for Private and Home Schoolers
Session 5: August 16-20, 2010 (1 week)
A portion of every camper's registration will go towards relief efforts in Haiti.
Experience Caribbean Arts and foster compassionate giving! In this session well explore the rich cultural arts and heritage of the Caribbean island of Haiti. We will discover the link to Africa through music, puppetry and performance. Learn polyrhythm, choreography, and Haitian history. Design and create giant puppets and perform a dramatic show using all
the elements learned in class. Wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a lunch.
Location: Noe Valley Ministry, 1021 Sanchez Street, San Francisco
Program Hours: 9:30-3:30 Mon-Fri
Performance: 2:30pm Friday 8/20
Tuition: $265 (1) wk, INCLUDES camp t-shirt and PM organic snack.
Child Care: $85/wk, $20/day 8:30-9:30am Mon-Fri, 3:30-5:30pm Mon-Thurs (no Friday PM care)
Discounts: $20 early bird discount by March 15th, $10 Sibling, $45 off second week of camp
