| Description |
The 1960s have been part of national mythology since the first day of January 1970. But the oft-maligned decade has never been cross-examined "face-to-face." In this series of shows, the performance collective Invisible Seattle will work with a menagerie of contemporary artists, including angel-headed ex-hippies, hip-hop angels, street bands that battle and a gospel choir gathered to examine the cinematic record, which interrogates them right back. This is a trial as performance, or a performance as a trial, over three nights and three different performances. (Series pass-holders are welcome to attend one night of their choice.)
