For fans of this event, we recommend Trail of Crumbs, Soul Supper, Mural Arts Tour with Jane Golden (which also includes lunch at Las Cazuelas), or Crazy Sexy Cancer (featuring a macrobiotic meal prepared by Christina Pirello, the Emmy-Award winning host of Public Television's "Christina Cooks").
Special guest Sergio Esposito, author of Passion on the Vine: A Memoir of Food, Wine, and Family in the Heart of Italy, will take your palate on a guided tour of Italys finest flavors, in the dramatic setting of Ristorante Panoramas hand-painted murals. The evening begins with a wine-tasting featuring selections from the authors famous collection. Dinner will follow, with a different wine to accompany each course and a festival artist to accompany each table of guests.
Sergio Esposito is the founder (along with partner Mario Batali) of Italian Wine Merchants www.italianwinemerchant.com. His book is both a memoir and a travelogue of the Italian wine region, linking the stories and techniques of the vineyards to the flavors of the wines they produce.
