Sorcerer's Apprentice
Northwest Puppet Center Seattle, WA
A wonderful puppet show for audiences of all ages. This new production by Carter Family Marionettes is drawn from two works, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", originally a poem by Goethe, and "The Grand Hand", a 19th century Parisian puppet play by Duranty.
When the apprentice gets lazy and decides to enlist the help of magic for his chores, he quickly discovers the powers are beyond his control! Disowned by his master, the young clown must fend for himself. Seeing a picnic appear at the command of the old magician, the cast-out foolishly decides to steal lunch and soon finds himself pursued by a giant hand!
Don't miss your chance to witness the magical mayhem and hilarious high jinks in this world premier performance.
Note: Please contact the puppet center if you have any questions. Thank you.
