On November 15th, 2008, the Seattle Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will celebrate 95 years here in Seattle. We are both honored and proud to be the oldest branch of the national Association west of the Mississippi and pioneers in our region of fighting social injustices.

Our branch, long a leading agency in the struggle for human rights, asks that you join us for our annual Freedom Fund reception. This formal affair features an intimate Q & A with renown professor and cultural commentator Michael Eric Dyson in addition to entertainment provided by local artists and musicians.
