Burnt Studio Productions is a non-profit performing arts organization founded in 1999 by Co-Artistic Directors Sam Read and Michelle Lockhart. Focusing their efforts on creating and producing new works, Burnt Studio forged a name for themselves in the Seattle theatre community as a provocative and eclectic collective.
Burnt Studio now specifically serves the West Seattle community by offering diverse new programming in theatre, dance and performance art. The organization has a renewed focus on cultivating community, creating unique performance experiences, and shining a spotlight on emerging playwrights and new works.
