THE PORTLAND BALLET

THE PORTLAND BALLET (previously known as Pacific Artists Ballet) is the preeminent ballet academy and youth company in the Pacific Northwest. Artistic Director Nancy Davis oversees a staff of 10 professional ballet teachers and coaches. The resident faculty is augmented by regular visits from TPBs Artistic Advisor John Clifford  New York City Ballet principal/choreographer/Balanchine Trust repetiteur, as well as guest teaches such as, Alonso King  Lines Ballet, Rachel Tess & Stephen Laks  Rumpus Room Dance, Carol Shults  repetiteur of the Dennis Spaight Trust and others. The youth company performs three seasons annually including a holiday production of John Cliffords La Boutique Fantasque at the Newmark Theater in downtown Portland.
