Mt Baker Community Center

The Mt. Baker Home Tour will be Sat., Dec. 8, 2007.

Begun in 1970 to
show-case the architectural treasures of the neighborhood the tour
was the first of its kind in the Seattle area and has since become
the largest funding source for the diverse programs sponsored by the
Mt. Baker Community Club (MBCC). It also funds all of the maintenance
needs of the Clubhouse.

The Home Tour begins at the historic Mt. Baker Community Clubhouse at
2811 Mt. Rainier Dr. S. Free shuttle service will be offered all day
between the profiled homes and the Club House.

This year the Community Club adds a Home Renovation Fair where a
series of lectures will be presented throughout the day and select
vendors who provide relevant products and services, covering the
process, planning, tools, and tips for a successful renovation.

In addition, the newly renovated Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing
Center will open its doors for tours of its updated and expanded boat
houses and community rooms.

Tickets purchased before Nov. 15th can be purchased at a 20%
discount.  Thereafter, tickets will be priced at $20 per person, so
pick up your tickets early.

Cash ticket purchases can also be made in-
person at Urban Vines located at 3605 S. McClellan St.
