Out On Film, the South’s premier gay and lesbian cinematic showcase and second largest cultural event for the LGBT community (after Atlanta Pride), will take place November 10-16, 2006 at Atlanta’s Plaza Theatre. Out On Film will attract fans of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender cinema to Midtown Atlanta for seven days of independent films and opening, closing and centerpiece parties. The film festival will include more than 50 films – feature-length narratives, documentaries and shorts from all over the world. The 19th Annual Out On Film is produced by IMAGE Film & Video Center, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. The IMAGE (Independent Media Artists of Georgia, Etc.) mission is to build and support a strong independent media arts community in Atlanta and the Southeast by promoting the production, exhibition and public awareness of film and video as artistic forms of individual expression.
