| The Langston Hughes African American Film Festival, Seattle is pleased to announce its 5th annual event,April 12-20 2008. Most screenings take place at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center, 104 17th Avenue South, located just off Yesler Way in Seattles Central District. Free parking available. Ticket Price - $15 opening and closing night.

All are welcome. The Langston Hughes African American Film Festival supports community building by providing opportunities for artists and audiences to connect using the medium of film as a catalyst for dialogue that leads to social change. The festival creates year round opportunities to enhance media literacy, self-reflection, and community discussion through such programs as our monthly Underground Railroad traveling film series. The on-site box office will open after 5:00 PM on festival screening days. The 2008 event schedule will be available after April 1st |
