The creative team that brought you the award-winning, critically-acclaimed, sold-out production of Big Love in the fall of 2009 has changed its identity. Now producing under the name of Band of Toughs: a theatre collaboratory, the Band of Toughs are committed to original, genre-mashing work, created in their own time signature that "puts the ass in passion" and kicks it! Band of Toughs are dedicated to pushing boundaries in their artistic endeavors promising to impact the local and national artistic landscape, in part by employing a collaboratory-style, decision-making process that invites our audience to engage as community partners in an exchange of ideas about what is culturally necessary. Each of the projects are developed in a collaborative-laboratory style approach that is put up in live workshop productions where audience feedback is encouraged and considered a crucial part of the development process.
