Located in West Berkeley, husband and wife winemaking team Tracey and Jared Brandt work with organic and sustainable vineyards from the Anderson Valley, Mendocino Ridge, El Dorado and Chalone appellations. They craft wines from Rhone varietals plus an annual (and unique) Chardonnay. They studied the art of winemaking in France, training with winemaker Eric Texier where old school winemaking techniques using wild yeast, wood vats, and no filtration were the norm. Today they are a small but growing winery producing 2000 cases annually in their west Berkeley winery. Their wines can be found in local restaurants and wine shops and in such far-flung places as Denmark and Japan
