Founded in 2009, the WKWRDL is located in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia.
We have seven house teams: Gnarlie's Angels in Rossland, the Babes of Brutality in Salmo, the Dam City Rollers in Castlegar, the Killjoys and Lumber Jackies in Nelson, the Valley Vendettas from the Slocan Valley, and the Bad News Betties from Trail. Our travel team is the Kootenay Kannibelles.
The league spans approx 100-kms and has a membership of 150 skaters, coaches, trainers, referees, and NSO's.
