Established in 1967, Parkview services is a non-profit 501(c)(3) serving all Washingtonians. Parkview Services is helping to bring dreams home and give people a chance to have stability and community in their lives by offering the following programs:
Affordable Housing for one hundred and sixty five people with developmental disabilities throughout King County; Parkview Services owns 49 single family properties and acts as a landlord for people with developmental and physical challenges, providing ongoing maintenance and repairs, as well as long term Capital Needs upgrading. Low Cost Home Maintenance and Repair, offering below contractor rates for tenant related damage and for first time homebuyers needing orientation to their homes or basic maintenance and repairs. Down payment assistance for credit qualified first time homebuyers whose household income falls under 80% of Average Median Income. We providing up to $100,000 in layered soft-second mortgages and grants for people with disabilities in King and Snohomish Counties; Foreclosure counseling, first time homebuyer classes; financial education, and budgeting - while these services are open to anyone, we emphasize supporting low to moderate-income people with disabilities and those that face barriers to home ownership. Parkview Group Home: Licensed Boarding home for six adults with developmental disabilities in our original property on Capitol Hill, in a 1910 Craftsman home. Camp Parkview on Vashon Island, a one week summer camp for adults with disabilities run by forty volunteers and one paid Director Washington Homeownership Resource Center: A statewide independent non-profit provider of information and resources aimed at helping Washingtonians begin and maintain home-ownership. The services are open to anyone; the Center places an emphasis on supporting low- to moderate-income Washingtonians and those who often face barriers
