Practical Chinese for Traveling Professionals
Interested in learning Chinese language and culture? Traveling to China? This class was developed especially for you! Practical Chinese for Traveling Professionals is a customized Mandarin Chinese language class designed specifically for University of Minnesota students, faculty and staff. This practical, interactive course is taught by an experienced native speaking instructor from the Confucius Institute at the University of Minnesota.
Prepare for your travel abroad experience by learning practical language and cultural skills including:
- Greetings and introductions
- Getting around
- Negotiating
- Conducting business meetings
- Attending site visits
- Dining with Chinese friends
Class size is limited to 15 students.
This non-credit course meets on Thursdays, October 23 - December 4, 2014 in CSOM 2-219. Fee is $200 plus credit card processing charges.
