Poinsettia 5th Grade Outdoor Ed Concert

The Poinsettia 5th Grade Outdoor Ed Concert is a fundraiser that helps 5th graders raise funds to attend The Outdoor School. Funds raised at this event will go directly towards those students who need help raising money for their tuition to The Outdoor School.

The Poinsettia 5th Grade Outdoor Ed Concert will feature three local bands as well as food trucks and a bar.

BIG TWEED

With a sound that resonates from the golden age of country music, Big Tweed provides a soundtrack for the honky tonk in all of us. Their initial recording effort (Introducing... Big Tweed, 2010) reminisces of the twang-filled days of California's yesteryear, in a city that has seen its fair share. This six-piece band feels at home whether they play in a crowded dim-lit bar, a barn, or the stages of a county fair, and they have quickly become a favorite to fans from the Rocky Mountains of Montana to their hometown of Ventura, CA.

A.D.D. is Ventura's favorite cover band! Playing everything from Sublime to Madonna, Michael Jackson to Bob Marley, this band is sure to have something to get you up and dancing.

RUSTY HALO

Rusty Halo is a gritty, original, indie rock band with a touch of southern styling. Their music is emotional and raw and their live set is fully energized. All 4 members of the band were born and raised in Ventura, CA and some of the song lyrics share their interpretation of life here. They are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their first full length CD which should be ready for release in August of this year.
