Give Abundantly In Life through the GAIL Foundation to build a playground and therapy room for the children at the New Amsterdam Special Needs School in Berbice, Guyana, South America.
The Special Needs School is attended by 75 children with various special needs such as autism, ADHD, down syndrome, hearing impaired, and other disabilities. Currently, the playground is not functional and has not been used for three years. Additionally, they do not have a therapy room or visual educational tools to effectively teach children with autism and hearing loss.
The New Amsterdam Special Needs School was initially built by Peace Corp volunteers. The school is free to children who have disabilities that make them unable to attend public school.
COST DETAIL FOR "PLAYGROUND" PROJECT - $3500.00
With your donation, the GAIL Foundation will repair and build swings, sea saws, monkey bars and slides for the children:
$1,125.00 Repair to swings and sea saw with steel rods, angle iron, cutting, welding, painting and installing
$825.00 Construct, paint and install one (1) new double slide
$1550.00 Construct, paint and install two (2) new double sea saw
COST DETAIL FOR "THERAPY ROOM" PROJECT - $3300.00
Further, we will furnish a therapy room with a projector and visual educational tools for children with learning disabilities:

ABOUT US: The GAIL Foundation was formed by Immigration Attorney Gail Seeram in 2011 for the advancement of charitable initiatives to benefit children globally. The GAIL Foundation is a IRC 501(c)(3) organization so donations are tax deductible.
COMPLETED PROJECTS: In September 2011, the GAIL Foundation through private donors, built a playground for the Children of Promise Eden Orphanage in Smythfield, New Amsterdam.
In December 2011, the GAIL Foundation through private donors, furnished two toddler rooms at Red Cross Convalescent Home and Children of Promise Eden Orphanage in Guyana.
