Living in the Fire of Change: Sacred Activism & Social Transformation
Living in the Fire of Change: Sacred Activism & Social Transformation, A Conference and Community Forum's mission is to: laterally engage, empower and inspire individuals and communities in a comprehensive, real-time evolutionary event that instantaneously seeds a shift in paradigm and implements a tangible forum plan for ongoing local synergy and lasting change.
Living in the Fire of Change: Sacred Activism and Social Transformation is a 2-day conference engaging local communities and features global activists Andrew Harvey, James ODea, Barbara Marx Hubbard and indigenous wisdomkeeper Sequoyah Trueblood.
Four local leaders are chosen from the area representing cutting-edge bridges between systems and partners that may before have seemed unlikely. They represent issues concerning sustainability of both the earth and the human spirit. By joining the Global and Local leaders together and inviting the audience into the mix with a forum and open mic, we have created an event that illuminates a lateral synergy and recognizes the individuals necessity in personal and collective transformation.
The conference is unique in its essence and scope due to its core mission being one based on deep and lateral connection. Its not about experts coming in and speaking to an audience that is passive but rather the opposite. Its about blending the powerful combination of Glocal (a new term coined to blend Global and Local) wisdoms and leadership which is ignited and invited across the board out to the audience and back. Questions are asked, issues are discussed, and people from the community become aware of the tools they already perhaps had to remember their power and effect change in the immediate and direct realm of the communal fabric.
JOIN JAMES O'DEA, FORMER AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL WASHINGTON DC OFFICES PRESIDENT AND FELLOW AND IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT OF IONS (INSTITUTE OF NOETIC SCIENCES), ANDREW HARVEY, BARBARA MARX HUBBARD, AND LOCAL SALT LAKE ACTIVISTS FOR THIS UNIQUE AND DEEPLY ENGAGING 2 DAY EVENT.
