Men Who Have Fallen Madly In and Out of Love with Me
Award winning SF playwright and journalist Beth Soloway teams up with her daughter, SF and Los Angeles actress Lisa Soloway, and SF comedy favorite Chris Hayes, for the world premiere of Men Who Have Fallen Madly In and Out of Love with Me, running Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm, March 5 through 20, in the Off-Market Theaters, 965 Mission St. Tickets are $20 at the door and online at www.fallenmadlyinlove.com

A series of romantic encounters between one woman and several different men that leap from beginning to non-sequitur end, Men Who Have Fallen Madly In and Out of Love with Me follows Woman (Lisa Soloway) as a toilet-paper-holder inspector who pursues flawless love with a myriad of would-be suitors, including a symphony conductor, an airline pilot, a customer representative, and a behavioral medicine doctor among others, all played by SF improv star Chris Hayes.

The last time mother and daughter Soloway teamed up, the result was a feature length film, Holly vs. Hollywood, for which Beth co-authored the screenplay with Jeff Johnson and Lisa, who picked up a Best Actress award at the California Independent Film Festival. Lisa, who returns to the stage with Men Who Have Fallen Madly In and Out of Love With Me after a seven-year hiatus from acting, was a company member of LA's Open Fist Theater and a founding member of the Syzygy Theater Company, also in LA. Beth Soloway, who directs and produces this project, won the coveted Lawrence and Lee Playwriting Award for her first full-length, Breathing, penned an award winning historical novel, The Great Deception, and was honored by the Chicago Daily News for an essay on racial integration.

Chris Hayes, who is a founding member of Crisis Hopkins and a producer of the SF Improv Festival, rounds out the cast playing all eight male characters. And keeping it all in the family, Lisa's husband Michael Resnick, who worked as a television sound designer with CBS and FX, returns to theater as the project's video/sound/light designer.
