This social media workshop is for you -- we're offering 4 different workgroups where you can get your burning questions about the WHY and HOW of social media answered.

1. Creating & Integrating accounts:(FB, Twitter, Instagram) What you will learn: a) Hands-on helping people actually sign up for their accounts, upload avatars, write bios, etc. (BRING YOUR PHONE or COMPUTER) b) Common language and lingo familiarity c) Review integration opportunities with Hootsuite This workgroup will be facilitated by: Jesse Sutherland 2. Understanding social media strategy What you will learn: a) What is a successful social media strategy b) Audience targeting c) The most effect platforms for your strategy (instagram v. pinterest v. google+ v. yelp) This workgroup will be facilitated by: Chris Grindem
3. Creating compelling & creative content What you will learn: a) Finding themes & creating patterns: dance videos, photos, personal stories, etc. b) Live demos on creating and sharing original images, audio and video. c) Managing pre-scheduled post This workgroup will be facilitated by: Amanda Lewan
4. Measuring the success of paid advertising What you will learn: a) How to build your audience on Facebook through advertising and other types of paid advertising. b) Measuring the effectiveness of your social media strategy - - using analytics. This workgroup will be facilitated by: Corinne Thomas
