David and Nic Sheff, a Father and his Son's Journey Towards Recovery from Addiction
Recovery Cafe has a deep calling to prevent our city's youth from losing years of their lives trapped by homelessness, mental health challenges and addiction. The Sheff Family's experience is one that will touch and inform all families. Their stories--beautifully written and conveyed--uncover the stark reality and utter devastation of addiction and mental health challenges suffered by many among our precious youth demographic. David and Nic's story is ultimately one of hope and the importance of family and community in helping youth suffering from addiction to heal and re-build their lives.
