Growing Chefs presents: Chocolate for Tinies
New York, NY
Annie Novak from Growing Chefs will first teach our little ones about the history and origins of chocolate, from Mexican kings to the first hot chocolate in Europe, and examine real cacao beans, comparing the taste and smell of raw chocolate to its candy counterpart. Then kids will discover the differences between chocolate bars: not just dark and milk, but how different beans can affect the taste, too, and taste chocolate from all over the world. Finally they will examine a map of where chocolate is grown, where it's made, and where we eat it, and learn how tropical fruits met northern milk to make our favorite treat.
