Artist Lecture: Kiki Smith
"Basically, art is just a way to think," says Smith in her Art:21 segment. "It's like standing in the wind and letting it pull you in whatever direction it wants to go."
Kiki Smith has produced a myriad of works in media such as sculpture, prints, installations. I Myself Have Seen It: Photography and Kiki Smith explores a number of distinct ways photographs play a central role in Smith's aesthetic and in the creation of her art. Join Henry Chief Curator Elizabeth Brown and acclaimed artist Kiki Smith for a special lecture inaugurating this new Henry exhibition, http://www.henryart.org/exhibitions/upcoming/1115.
