JedIraq -World Premier New Suit Theatre Show
In 2007 Dustin Meghan, a self-absorbed college journalist, is busy working away on his latest article when he is interrupted
by someone not much older then he. The woman tells Dustin she plans to travel to war-torn Iraq and send him letters about what she learns there. When asked why she is doing something so dangerous, she replies: "Because I can't stand doing nothing". What follows is a journey of understanding and risk that forces Dustin to open his mind and simultaneously ties him in knots. As he is swept to unexpected fame by his articles about this woman, he battles his own feelings of helplessness and compassion for strangers. This struggle pushes him to a decision that will ultimately determine how he lives the rest of his life.
