Yeol Eum Son, Silver Medalist of the 2009 Van Cliburn Piano Competition, performs for our second Saturday concert. Born in South Korea, Son began studying piano at the age of three and a half. At twelve, she started working with pianist Kim Dae-jin and at sixteen, entered the Korean National University of the Arts to continue her piano studies. Both charming and hugely talented, Ms. Son promises to be a delightful conclusion to the 2010 Ventura Music Festival season.
