Description
The 50th Annual University of Chicago Folk Festival of traditional music takes place Friday through Sunday, February 12-14, 2010. The festival features three evening concerts in Mandel Hall, 1131 East 57th Street, plus two full days of free workshops, dances and jam sessions in Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 East 59th Street.

The annual jamboree will feature James King Band (bluegrass), The New Mules (old time string band), Dan Gellert (old time fiddle), Aaron Moore (blues piano), Liz Carroll (Irish fiddle), Kurt Bjorling and Jim Stoynoff (Klezmer and Greek clarinetists), Les Amis Creole (Creole), Kim Wilson (blues harmonica) and Terry Oldfield (bagpipes).

Tickets will be held at the will call office in Mandel Hall. Please bring your brown paper ticket receipt and ID. Box office opens 2 hours before concert; will call opens 1 hour before concert
