Africa Mission - Charity Dinner Auction
Since 2003, youth and adults from the Eastern Shore have banded together through ESG Missions and provided much needed service to impoverished people around the world. Our fundraising dinner auction is the headline event in raising money for our 2010 mission to Africa. Please come out for a delightful evening and support the Africa Mission Team!
The evening begins Saturday, February 20th at 5:30pm, in the newly renovated Banquet Room of the Talbot Country Club. Meet the team and browse and bid on silent auction items while you enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, and good company. Dinner and live musical entertainment will commence at 6:30pm followed by an address from our keynote speaker and a live auction.
Ticket Price:
$75 per person.
Attire:
Formal/Semi-Formal, no jeans please. Tuxedos and gowns are encouraged! Show off a little for your friends and peers.
Dinner Menu Choices:
Baby Field Greens with Vine Ripe Tomatoes, English Cucumber and Balsamic Vinaigrette
and
Chicken Marsala with Sauted Seasonal Mixed Vegetables and Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes
and
Assorted Cheesecakes
Freshly Baked Breads and Creamery Butter, Freshly Brewed Coffees, and an Assortment of Regular and Herbal Hot Teas are included with your meal.
Bidding:
The silent auction will run from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of dinner. The live auction will run from 7:45pm to 8:30pm. All bids are binding. Please bring form of payment to the event (cash or check) as all bids are to be settled that evening.
Auction bids over the retail value of a donated item are tax deductible (consult your tax advisor). Tax ID # is 52-6012133 [Mailing Address: 111 S. Harrison St. Easton, MD 21601].
