Anderson High School's Little Theatre Company performance of "Footloose" is based on the 1998 Broadway, and Tony Award nominated musical rendition of the 1984 film with the same name. "Footloose" is a story about peaceful life in the small town of Beaumont until a young city boy, Ren, from Chicago arrives breaking every taboo. Ren brings dance back to the heart of a town held back by the memory of a tragedy. The music includes many of the original hits of the '80s that made the film so popular, including the title song "Footloose", "Let's Hear It For the Boy", "Holding on for a Hero", and "I'm Free" among others. Special guest actor Tyler Jones returning to his alma mater to star in the role of the Reverend Shaw Moore.
Note: This production of "Footloose" is suitable for audiences 8 years old and up.

After Jan 25th, tickets may be purchased at the Anderson Performing Arts Center Box Office.
Online tickets can be picked up in Will Call. Will Call and Box Office will open one hour before show time.
All tickets for shows Thursday - Sunday are Reserved Seating.
Ticket prices are:
$8 for children 10 and under
$10 for Students & Over 65 Adults
$12 for Other Adults
Preview Show Wednesday, Jan 27th is General Admission seating. $5 Tickets available at the door only.
