THE NOSE (theatre+iPhone) by N.Gogol
After participating in the biggest theatre festival in the world - Avignon OFF'09, performances in Taiwan and Ukraine THE NOSE - San Francisco originated experimental production is back in Bay Area for only 3 performances on site of historical Julia Morgans landmark in Berkeley and only 4 shows in a cool alternative performing space at Pier 26 in San Francisco!
THE NOSE is an experimental performing collage of traditional live narration and the modern technological achievements of our time. The piece was formed with collaboration between software engineer and video artist Kevin Quennesson and internationally renowned theatre director and performer Oleg Liptsin. This blend of interactive video technology, live acting and the most recent internet tools and applications represents our attempt to create a modern interpretation of the classic myth, as well as to update the cultural language of communication between art forms and audiences.
