Santaland Diaries presented by The Bricks Theatre
The Bricks Theatre presents two performances of Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris, adapted for stage by Joe Mantello. The production will feature Peter Hunt, last scene in the Bricks hugely successful run of An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein.
Santaland Diaries, an original essay by David Sedaris, was first read on air at NPR in 1992, where Sedaris let us in on his disturbing, but mostly hilarious, experience as a MacyÂÂs Elf. Joe Mantello adapted the essay as a one person, one-act play in 1996, and it has quickly become a holiday favorite for the cranky elves in us all.
