Chinatown Herbalist Walking Tour

Location: Meet in Chinatown Square by the Zodiac Animal Statues (Approximately 2134 S. Archer Ave) Please arrive at least 15 minutes before for registration.
Duration: 1 Hour Walking Tour
Cost: $25 per person
Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM originated in ancient China more than 2,000 years ago. During this walking tour through Chinatown, you will learn about the history and philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine and the theory of "Yin-Yang". You will visit two shops to see the vast variety of herbs incorporated into TCM and learn about some common herbs used in herbal remedies. The final stop will be at Kent Young Health Products where you will learn about other methods of TCM including acupuncture and cupping.
