Burlesque 202 with The Shanghai Pearl - Spring 210

This 4-week performance workshop challenges new performers to take their acts to the next level. The workshop offers performers the rare opportunity to receive direction.  Students must bring two strong concepts and music to the first day of class for critique and development by instructor and class. Taught by The Shanghai Pearl, Miss Indigo Blue attends at least one session and hosts the Final Showing on Saturday, May 29.

Class is held on 4 Mondays from 6-9pm, beginning on May 3rd.

Full tuition $300 includes instruction, final showing, and 8x10 from recital.  Advance registration $275 if deposit paid by January 31.  Non-refundable $75 deposit required on this site, goes towards total tuition.

Prerequisite: Open to Academy Graduates or people with 1 year continuous Burlesque Performance.

Note: Students must attend first class with two works-in-progress. These acts must already have music, costume, and concept in development. Each student will perform two acts at showing. All classes are mandatory.
