| Description |
America slowly appears to be emerging from recession, rebounding from its worst slump in decades. However many US economists agree the prospect of recovery in the job market is still off in the horizon. Whatcom county unemployment rates are significantly lower than state or Federal levels. Why is this and what should we expect in the months ahead? When will the economy turn around and what is the anticipated length of recovery. Should we worry about inflation? Can we expect a positive economic impact of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics for Whatcom County?
Join us on November 20 to hear Dr. Hart Hodges of the WWU College of Business and Economics' Center for Economic and Business Research answer these questions and more. This presentation is sure to help your business better navigate the challenging economic climate.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear Dr Hodges present a current economic outlook and preliminary forecast for the year ahead.
This will be a popular meeting so please register as soon as possible.
