Les Dames d'Escoffier New York: Holiday Potluck Party honoring Julia Child
Calling all Dames for our annual holiday party at the home of Marsha Palanci in Manhattan. This year it's "Potluck a la Julia," so get ready to master the art of partying! Bring a dish, if you wish, using a recipe in Mastering the Art of French Cooking (volumes one or two). Your dish should serve 8 to 10 people and arrive in a ready-to-serve container with serving utensils. Come attired (if you are brave!) with some Julia Child paraphernalia, such as a costume, a wig or an apron. We're also looking for a personal picture of Julia Child. Scan or send the original (it will be lovingly handled and returned) to Jenifer Lang. Contact her to coordinate the dish you would like to bring and/or Julia's photo you have to share. Open to Les Dames d'Escoffier members, guests and non-members.
