 PianoFight's female-driven variety show Monday Night ForePlays extends into December with all new sketches, dance numbers, musical performances and more! Returning from a sold-out November run, the show continues to be written, directed, produced and starring an all-star cast of ladies. Monday Night ForePlays will return December 7, 2009, and run every Monday evening at 8:00 pm, from December 7 to 21, in Studio250 at Off-Market, 965 Mission St between 5th and 6th. Tickets are $20 at the door and online at www.pianofight.com.
In an effort to continue creating strong female roles, PianoFight producers Ruth Grossinger and Kate Jones gathered a group of women to further this goal. Through writing workshops and some serious happy hours, Monday Night ForePlays was born to offer feminine-inspired artistic competition to its athletic Monday night rival.
Monday Night ForePlays has been called funny, energetic, original, quirky, and sexy by audiences! The December show includes a titillating collection of comedic sketches along with original dance numbers and a rotating line-up of musical acts and comedians.
The all-star team of writers, actors, directors and producers behind Monday Night ForePlays includes Christy Crowly, Stefanie Goldstein, Ruth Grossinger, Nina Harada, Nicole Hammersla, Kate Jones, Marta Lindsey, Jessica Mele, Nova Parrish, Gabrielle Patacsil, Emma Rose Shelton, Derricka Smith and Vidya Sundaram. The show also features PianoFight mainstays and male chauvinist pigs Logan Andrews, Jeremy Mascia, Eric Reid, Rob Ready, Dan Williams, Evan Winchester and Clint Winder.
PIANOFIGHT LLC is an SF-based production company founded by Rob Ready and Dan Williams, which is a managing partner of Off-Market Theaters, and has produced original works, premiered all-new shows, created and developed an online web series, and cut numerous short films, all while remaining true to its commitment of producing new work by new artists.
