Equal parts walking tour, scavenger hunt, and interactive play, this playful excursion leads participants into a hard-boiled noir adventure. Provided with a map and basic instructions, participants are sent off on a quest to save a damsel in distress. Various clues and encounters with shady characters take the sleuths into the nooks and crannies of Chinatown, North Beach, and Downtown with stops in bars and restaurants along the way until the mystery is solved. Created by director Joseph Tomasini, the weekly adventure requires only a sense of humor and a pair of comfortable shoes.

Shanghai San Francisco recommends taking public transportation or cabs to and from the event. If you are purchasing tickets on behalf of others, you agree that it is your reponsibility to provide this Waiver & Release of Liability to each attendee that you are purchasing tickets for, and that you further agree to indemnify, defend and hold Shanghai San Francisco harmless for failing to do so. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. You further give permission to Shanghai San Francisco to use your photograph or photographic image as part of its advertising/marketing (including but not exclusive of any web site or print materials), and you forever waive and release any claim for compensation (whether monetary or otherwise) arising from its use.
