| Description |
Poet and popular NPR commentator Andrei Codrescu makes a rare Seattle appearance. His talk will be titled, "States of Memoir, Or How to Reconstruct Old Brains to New Ones in Several Languages." Andrei is the author of over 20 books, covering a range of topics from the loss of civil liberties in the U.S. to the revolution in his home country, Romania. His most recent book is "New Orleans, Mon Amour: Twenty Years Of Writings From the City." Andrei is appearing as a part of The Scala Publishing Group's "States of Memoir" programming, and is also promoting "BAXT," a new collection of photographs of Lithuanian Gypsies by Andrew Miksys, to which Andrei contributed the text. For more information on "States of Memoir," visit www.tspg.org.
