| Description |
We are cooperating to create a Sustainability Commons. A Sustainability Commons is a network of cooperators creating a common-pool resource of sustainability focused information and tools. The commons is a "control-free zone" in which members agree to create Public Goods used by all members of society.
Please join us for the Seattle launch of a Sustainability Commons and Wiser Earth. This half day session is strategic and will not focus on the technical details about making this happen. Our goal is to build upon the momentum to make this happen. Attached is a one page description and`list of participating organizations and a summary of a September 27th San Francisco session notes.
We will demonstrate Wiser, the World Index for Social and Environmental Responsibility, an open source platform that enables private sector, civil society, and government to collaboratively address and solve social and environmental problems.
We will use attendr, a social-networking application. Each attendee can share a little information about themselves and we learn a lot about the group as a whole.
