FIDDLER ON THE ROOF 2014
"FIDDLER ON THE ROOF," written by Joseph Stein with music and lyrics by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, tells the story of Tevye, who is belabored by the difficult problems of raising and supporting his five daughters in Tsarist Russia. His eldest, Tzeitel, must marry first so that Hodel and Chava can marry. Always trying to keep Tevye and her daughters under control is Golde. The show has some of the most beautiful songs this renown team ever wrote: "Sunrise, Sunset," "Tradition," "If I Were A Rich Man," "Far From the Home I Love," and many more.
