At the Incubator, you will:
Create original stories for the stage and perform them for casting directors and talent agents.
Sharpen your skills at improv, directing, co-creating plays & more.
Strengthen your confidence as an ethnic performer in America.
Network with Chicagos growing Asian American theater community.

All levels of theater experience welcome. Everyone from beginners to seasoned professionals will benefit from the Incubator. Workshop instructors are Chicagos top Asian American talent and are members of SAG, AFTRA, AEA and AGMA.

As Asian American theater artists in Chicago, we need to create opportunities for ourselves. Well do this by spending the weekend co-creating plays that will be staged at 7PM on Sunday, 11/22. Were inviting casting directors and talent agents to show them the fantastic talent we have to offer. Invite your friends and family! Tickets to your show are only $5.

We need to better connect our community. Please have at least 50 personal business cards ready to share at our One Minute Introduction. Much like speed dating (without the pressure), well spend one minute meeting and greeting each other, passing out business cards and pressing palms.

How to register:
Pay $20 online at brownpapertickets.com or walk in and pay $25 on Saturday 11/21.This includes participation in three theatrical workshops, meals, and the chance to perform an original play that you co-create for talent agents and casting directors.

What to bring:
50+ business cards. Clothes you can move in. Notebook and writing tool. A hot/cold cup. An open, creative mind.
