| Description |
| People tend to think of Farmer's Markets as a haven for fresh produce and properly grown meats, but several of the downtown greenmarkets feature extraordinary hand crafted cheese and as part of The Joy of Cheese Local October, we will sample and discuss ten of the very best hand crafted cheeses found at Union Square, Tompkins, Stuyvesant and St. Mark's Greenmarkets. There will be great cheese from Cato's Corner, Consider Bardwell, Ronnybrook, Valley Shepherd, Three Corners Farms and many, many others. This event will take place Tuesday October 6 from 7-8:15 at 10 Degrees, 121 St. Mark's Place, in the East Village. Tickets are $25 and you pay for your beverages as you go. NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted. |
