Seascape with Sharks and Dancer is a play about two dysfunctional people that engage in a rocky relationship.
Ben is a quiet writer who leads a solitary life in an old beach house on Cape Cod. Tracy- a tough girl who learned to distrust the kindness of others- enters his life when he saves her from drowning in the ocean and brings her into his home. Will love be stronger than fear?
Don Nigro finds both the humor and the vulnerability of this relationship that is magnetically inevitable and touches on the core of all human relationships: they are bound to be dysfunctional at best, totally destructive at worst, which gives hope at least for the rest of us.
