Petaluma actor Joe Peer, in association with the Petaluma Arts Council, presents a staged reading of "Real Women Have Curves" by Josefina Lopez. The Thursday show is an open dress rehearsal offered at a reduced price; Friday and Saturday shows are the full performance at full price. This special ArtsLive! presentation is the lead-in to the Arts Council's annual Day of the Dead festivities. All performances are at the Petaluma Arts Center.
"This play is a microcosm of the Latina immigrant experience; it celebrates real women's bodies, the power of women, and the incredible bond that happens when women work together."
Note: Open seating; ticket reservations recommended, though some will be available at the door. Thurs. show is an open dress rehearsal at a reduced price. Sat./Sun. are full performances at full price.
