The perfect recipe for creating new memories with loved ones includes good friends, good conversation and, of course, great food. As home cooks across the country head back to the kitchen to cook up fall's flavorful dishes, the Taste of Home Cooking School is preparing to share seasonal recipes that are certain to delight.
Taste of Home's Culinary Specialist Karen will be at the Roper Auditorium on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 to share her home cooking tips and tricks while demonstrating step-by-step recipes for the season's best dishes. This season's event is brought to Twin Falls by the Times-News.
The Taste of Home Cooking School is America's leading cooking school program, inspiring more than 150,000 passionate home chefs at approximately 250 events nationwide. Attendees experience exciting recipe demonstrations using ingredients that are easily found at the local grocery store and best of all, the dishes are submitted by home cooks from across the country.
"From experienced home chefs to beginners learning their way around the kitchen, the Taste of Home Cooking School offers something for everyone putting a fresh spin on old favorites and adding new recipes to your seasonal repertoire," said Karen, Taste of Home Culinary Specialist. Gingerbread Cheesecake is one of the recipes that will be demonstrated at the show. With its rich and creamy texture and mouth-watering flavors, this twist on gingerbread is the perfect fall choice to make for your family and friends."
Attendees will receive a gift bag including the Taste of Home Cooking School magazine. This magazine includes recipes featured during the program, along with many more, as well as coupons and other goodies from participating national food companies. Attendees can also enter for a chance to win one of many door prizes, including the recipes created onstage that night.
Tickets go on sale Monday, August 11th for $10 each, multiple ticket discount prices are offered as well as limited VIP seating.

Volunteer Timeslot Options:
8:30am-Noon: Stage set-up and food preparation for the recipes showcased during the event. Learn tips and tricks from a culinary specialist. Receive your 2 event tickets early and join us at the 5pm for the show!

4:30-9pm: Assist back-stage with food preparation with the opportunity to help on-stage with Taste of Home Culinary Specialist Karen Davis! Invite your friends to the event using your 2 FREE tickets!

Requirements:
