Fresh off a smash-success national tour, the Handsome Little Devils are proud to present their latest creation in their very own hometown!
Squirm Burpee: A Vaudevillian Melodrama is a high-energy comedy featuring Vaudeville acts and circus arts, all wrapped up in a classic Melodrama plot.
Local producer Al Kraizer (Al Kraizer and Associates) calls Squirm Burpee "a dazzling array of physical circus skills, killer dance moves, whip smart spontaneity and outrageous comedy!" Another audience member said, "Even 6 months later, my kids are cracking each other up with quotes from your show!"
Directed by Armitage Shanks, and co-authored with the ensemble, this original comedy is unlike anything on the theatre scene today. With its roots firmly planted in Vaudeville, audiences will be thrilled with non-stop action: tap dancing, juggling, singing and slapstick, and don't forget chainsaw juggling!
