Portland Fashion and Style Awards
The city's uber-talented creatives have catapulted Portland into the national fashion limelight earning it a reputation for it's hip and unique voice, and one of the best fashion hubs in America. The event celebrates that creativity and shines a spotlight on it for the world to see.
The Portland Fashion & Style Awards support local businesses and commerce by recognizing excellence and awarding those who create Portland's unique style. The show spotlights and honors exceptional local talent and connects Portland's diverse creatives to foster collaboration and growth.
The combination of Portland's creative culture and its access to the booming markets of the Pacific Rim create unparalleled opportunities. PFSA helps our industry find the allies and synergies to succeed. Portland Fashion and Style Awards leverages Portland's creatives. By working together, the event sparks new ideas, concepts and projects that wouldn't normally occur when operating solely in one's area of specialty.
As a result of connections made through the 2012 awards show, the Winner of Best Boutique SW, Anne Bocci Boutique and Gallery, went on to collaborate with the winner in the Best Photography Category, Rod Black of Foto Door Photography, and Kodi Sawyer, Winner Best Female Model. The event, held at the Analog Cafe & DRD Records Little Theater in Portland, OR, showcased their work, along with the designs of 2013 Project Runway winner, Michelle Lesniak Franklin, whose clothing line is available at Anne Bocci Boutique.
Just as important is our secondary mission to connect individuals in Portland's diverse creative industry and encourage collaboration and growth by leveraging each other's abilities. By working together, we spark new ideas, concepts and projects that just don't materialize when working in a vacuum!
