Taking place on Saturday October 17th, The Cool Black Ball is a pre-halloween costume event showcasing the entertainment section of Fillmore Street. Participants include all restaurants and music venues on Fillmore from Post down to Eddy Street.
We are encouraging you to attend dressed in cool, classy, sexy and hip all black fashions of the 1920s thru 1950s and experience the entire area. Choose to dine at one of our many restaurants and experience the diverse food and culture of the Fillmore. Listen and dance to the many great musical acts at Rasselas, Yoshi's, Sheba Piano Lounge and Brunos. Be A part of the first Cool Black Ball on The Fillmore: The heart and soul of the city.
Make your dinner reservations at listed restaurants under "Cool Black Ball" for special menus. Dinner reservations at Yoshi's and Rasellas will receive half priced tickets at the door.
Don't miss the free Swing Dance lessons at 7:00pm in the Fillmore Center Plaza. Then head out to your favorite Fillmore venues for live music and classy lounging.

Note: The theme of the Cool Black Ball is about fashion of the Jazz decades: 1920s thru the 1950s. Suggested attire is vintage clothing of these four decades: cool, classy, sexy, hip and all black. This is only a suggestion so if you are unable to dress in these themes, please wear your finest black attire and come on down. This will be one of the Bay Areas coolest and classiest events.
