Our focal point this season is The Greater Good, the idea that true justice and freedom for all can only be achieved through individual sacrifice. To that end, we begin and end the season with two mass settings of cosmic proportions: Mozart's Great Mass in C minor and Bach's Mass in B minor. Taking this concept a step further, we also include our second annual Lenten concert PASSION: Sacrifice and Surrender, an evening of 16th and 17th century a cappella motets that focus on the suffering of Jesus, as well as our own trials of the spirit that call us to act on behalf of the greater good.
