BEST FEST '09

Don't miss Oregon BEST FEST '09, an informative and engaging opportunity to connect with Oregon's leading green building and renewable energy researchers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, government representatives, and others interested in fueling Oregon's green economy. This dynamic, two-part event takes place on Monday, September 14 in downtown Portland, Oregon and is for industry/government/nonprofit stakeholders affiliated with, or interested in, Oregon BEST.

The morning "Researcher Session" is for Oregon BEST Member Faculty wanting to learn more about growing their research funding. In the afternoon, the event opens to businesspeople and others who join the researchers during the "University-Industry Session," where Oregon BEST faculty members showcase and discuss their research projects, and industry partners share research needs and business ideas.

The day will conclude with a reception and open house for Oregon BEST's new signature research facility at Portland State University - the Green Building Research Laboratory.

The ultimate goal of the gathering is to spark university-industry collaborations that will develop and commercialize new green building and renewable energy products and services to help fuel Oregon's green economy.
