BEETS & BBQ at Growing Power Chicago

300 + Chicago youth are trained and employed each year on Grow Power's six west and southside farms. From growing food to running neighborhood markets, youth are transforminingg Chicago's food system. Come and celebrate their work!

We'll have delicious BBQ and veggies from the farm prepared by our good friends at Dream Cafe and Grille, as well as Revolution Brewing beer to quench your thirst.

Jesse De la Pena and Chris Quinn will be providing the "beets" for our BBQ.

We'll have tours of the farm at 6pm and 7pm. Come see what's growing, taste honey from our bee hives, pet our adorable goats, checkout our family activity table, and see the newest commercial compost facility in Chicago.

Your ticket and donation help fund our work in Chicago. Thanks to our Advisory Board for coordinating this exciting dinner.

Admission price: $35.00. Please consider adding a $15 donation price to help fund stipends for our teens this summer.
